Review of Code (Virals #3) by Kathy Reichs

Picture and Description taken from Goodreads

DESCRIPTION:
The Virals are put to the ultimate test when they find a geocache containing an ornate puzzle box. Shelton decodes the cipher inside, only to find more tantalizing clues left by "The Gamemaster." A second, greater geocache is within reach—if the Virals are up to the challenge.

But the hunt takes a dark turn when Tory locates the other box—a fake bomb, along with a sinister proposal from The Gamemaster. Now, the real game has begun: another bomb is out there—a real one—and the clock is ticking.

MY REVIEW:

I have read the first two in this series also, but since I am just now entering the blogging world I didn't add the first two I really enjoyed them though.  If you want to know what I thought about them you can go here and here read a little review I gave them on Goodreads.

CODE is by far my favorite one in the series!  I liked how this story was all about the "Virals"  the other ones are as well, obviously, but this one stayed right at home for them!  I LOVE that they "knew" the bad guy and didn't even know it.  What I LOVE even more is that it's totally not who I thought it was!  Man!  I went through the whole book saying "I know who it is" and then when it came to revealing it I was surprised!  I love it when a book does that to me!  I don't mind figuring out who the bad guy is and then reading how the characters find out who he is, but I really love it when I "think" I know who the bad guy is and it turns out different!

I love how connected the "Virals" are!  I love that they are a good group of friends who are loyal to each other, and watch each others backs!  Even if they tend to get into a lot of trouble!

I was pleasantly surprised by this series!  The only reason I started it was because the MC is related to Temperance Brennan from the show Bones, and I LOVE that show!  I didn't care that it's not "real" I just love her character so I thought this is a book I will probably be interested in!  Lets just say, the books got better each time for me!

I think it's a very clean book, and it's just fun to read!  It's interesting, exciting, and fun!

MY RATING:

5 of out 5!

I got this book from iTunes...I am not affiliated with iTunes, this is my PERSONAL rating and review!

  3. I do that too when I read books, thinking I know who the bad guy is. Then it turns out to be someone completely different. I never seem to be good at guessing mysteries :P I find it interesting that the author had the mc be related to a TV show character. Bones is a pretty good show =) Great review!
